| About Madron
|
|
| Madron is situated approximately 2 miles
north of the market town of Penzance in Penwith. It is bordered to the
north by the West Penwith moors, which stretch to the north coast and
the historic villages of Morvah and Zennor.
The village has stunning views across Mount's Bay to the south, and to St Just and Zennor from the moors. The church, pictured to the right, was built in the 14th Century, and has a Norman font.

At the hub of the village is the King William IV pub, situated almost directly across the road from Tregoddick House. This pub is popular with locals and tourists alike, and serves a range of excellent food. The village is also well served by the Post Office Stores, just slightly up the road from the pub. It stocks a wide range of food and supplies, as well as offering a large number of post office services.
